The champagne definitely needs to be mixed with something that will freeze better-- I have pink champagne running down my wrist as I type. But really, truly delicious. Good morning, indeed.
How about non-alcoholic champagne? Or water it down with tonic or sprite? The less alcohol, the better it will freeze. You could also try a champagne dipping glass - as in dip the pop stick into the champagne.
